This is a personal self-discovery retreat, that is anchored in exploring personal authentic creativity of soul. This is not a heady, lecture-style retreat. Rather, it is an experiential journey that will engage the senses as well as one’s intuition.
This year’s theme is ‘The Wild Beyond Knowing.’ So many of us have discovered places and spaces where our life has become too small, too curated, with expectations inherited knowings that are now too restrictive for the person we are becoming.
This weekend retreat is a experiential psychotherapy intensive for those already engaged in the deeper work of questioning, reclaiming and becoming. We will enter our inner inherited house of being, meet what was left in the shadows and walk among the ruins of what not longer holds. We will practice not knowing and following what catches our attention. We will create without being told what to create and we will listen for what cannot be heard through certainty. In all of that we will make room for beauty, play, pleasure, symbol, silence and awe. We will plant soul seeds of our own personal unfolding.
And we will slowly ask: What is sacred now? No-one with answer that question for us—we will discover that for ourselves. And from there, risk entering the Mystery anew.
This retreat is for those who are no longer looking for another belief system. It is for those who are ready to meet the living world again.
Exploring personal freedom and authentic expression is meant to be an adventure. This time away will be a little of that soul adventure.

Lakehouse Moments Retreat
Lakehouse Moments owners Darlene and Cheri are the masterminds behind the creation this rural oasis, and its luxurious appointments throughout the space invite relaxation and restoration. This 8-bedroom 5000+ sq ft home has had every nook and cranny carefully designed and planned. Its soothing space feels spa-like from tip to toe. The home has a gourmet kitchen that sits at the heart of it all, and is a favourite gathering space for participants.
Darlene notes, “This luxurious private lake house property is nestled amongst four acres of nature, just steps from Francis Lake. It is a “wellness in the wilderness property” so if you are a nature lover you will appreciate all of the healing qualities obtained from the natural habitat. Georgian Bluffs is also known for its waterfalls and the serenity with which they bring.”
A short drive south of the home on Grey Road 17, participants will find The Glen Conservation Area with its lush trails and connection to the Bruce Trail, where they can walk along the ridge of the Niagara Escarpment. Travelling north several kilometres on Grey Road 17, folks will find the Skinner’s Bluff Trail - a beautiful forest hike that takes hikers to an Escarpment peak… a natural rockface jutted edge overlooking the heart-stopping views of forests below and out into the majestic Georgian Bay. And, of course, a very short walk away are the shores of Francis Lake - a small, serene lake of wild beauty.
The property has 8 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, and a gorgeous chef's kitchen that serves as the hub of the home. There is a gorgeous great room with a vaulted ceiling and spectacular floor to ceiling windows which really brings the outdoors in. On the lower level, there is a second common gathering space, an enclave for quiet connection and personal reflection. The grounds host a huge firepit, an outdoor hot tub (sheltered), a covered outdoor dining space and there is even an outdoor theatre screen available!
